Meet Sue
We love exploring Michigan! As my husband, Carman and I (we’ve been married over 40 years!) walk around the block or travel across the state, we enjoy studying local architecture, history and lifestyles of the various communities we pass through.
Our favorite places include the Leelanau Peninsula, where we scour the beaches for Petoskey stones; Grand Rapids, where we attend concerts at Fredrick Meijer Gardens, explore Art Prize, and discover new restaurants; and the resurging greater Detroit area, where we take in sporting events and theater. In addition, we love to spend time with our grandchildren (we have eight!), play golf, hike, camp, and travel.
When our youngest daughter (one of four) graduated from high school in 2002, I took a leap of faith and began a new career in real estate, which was a natural fit with my interests. Being able to do so in a community where I was born, raised, and built a life provides me with a familiarity with the area that I can share with my clients and their families. This expertise allows me to provide my clients with exceptional services as it relates to their search for a new home or other real estate goals.
I believe it’s important to give back to my community and do so by volunteering at my church and local St. Vincent de Paul resale store. I also serve on both the city of Big Rapids Planning Commission and the township of Big Rapids Board of Review.
